We're very proud that Myles, one of our experienced Advanced Stylists, was invited to attend and demonstrate his skills with hair straighteners at the recent Cosmoprof show in Hong Kong.
Myles was invited by the Asian manufacturers of DIOSA hair straighteners and spent 3 days impressing thousands of visitors at the show with the many styles it's possible to create with the latest generation of ceramic hair straighteners.
Myles has been on many training courses with companies such as ghd, and is an expert at creating some fantastic hair styles with Irons.
Hair straighteners are not only an essential item for straightening hair these days - you can also create small tight curls through to large and 'volumous' hair for those special occasions.
Probably the style Myles created that got the most attention at Cosmoprof, was when he used 'chopsticks' and produced a stunning hair style on his model of cork screw curls created with just the straighteners and some spare chopsticks! (see the picture below left).
Cosmoprof Asia, held annually over 3 days in Hong Kong every November, brings together over 1,200 exhibiting companies, and around 35,000 visitors including distributors, hair and beauty salon owners as well as global figureheads in the hair and beauty industry.
We've been using DIOSA hair straighteners in our Salon for some time now - not only do they utilise the very latest science and technology, but represent fantastic value for money.
Substantially less money than for example ghd or Corioliss models, they provide at least the same standard of finish and outstanding reliability (they are used almost constantly in the Salon).
UPDATE: After the fantastic feedback Myles received from his demonstrations in Hong Kong, Cosmoprof Asia has become an annual event on the calendar for our Stylists - we've now been invited to demonstrate at Cosmoprof for three years running!
